- Abstract
The article presents a study on travelers' mobility-related attitude to develop more effective policies and measures to push sustainable transportation choices. It identified five cohorts of travelers from three German cities including car individualists, weather-tolerant cyclists, and eco-sensitized passengers who differ in transportation choices. It found that attitude-based approach is more efficient as transport choices predictor than groups based on sociodemographic and geographic factors.
