- Abstract
The article presents news items on environmental issues. Norwegian researchers have found that global warming may allow for the global expansion of bat ranges and in turn lead to increases in rabies. Researchers from Italy have suggested that toxicological and biochemical studies of caged land snails that are combined with data from air quality monitoring stations may provide information about the impact that pollutants have on human health and ecosystems.
