- Abstract
The article presents a case study of an infant with multiple uniocular breaks in Descemet's membrane secondary to presumed non-accidental injury (NAI). She was born at 35 weeks by unassisted vaginal delivery and was admitted at age 8 months due to subdural haemorrhage, rib fractures, retinal haemorrhages and facial bruising. A discussion on the causes of Descemet's breaks and misdiagnoses of ocular symptoms and signs on their first presentation is included.
