- Abstract
The article presents a study on the presence of metribuzin and chlorpyrifos in marine sediments near golf course drainage ditches in Maui, Hawaii. The study used Hewlett-Packard 5730 gas chromatograph with nitrogen-phosphorous detector (NPD) to perform gas chromatography (GC) analysis on marine sediment samples. Results show that chlorpyrifos was the most widely used chemical against insects in the area.
