- Abstract
The article offers a study of the effects of selenium on the fry and reproductive behavior of fathead minnows exposed to sublethal concentrations. It says that exposure of several fishes to 20 and 30 milligram per liter (mg/L) for 24 hours does not affect their reproductive behavior. It states that offspring of fathead minnows exposed to high selenium concentrations have edema and low survivability.
