- Abstract
Regarding the dynamic P SB L sb estimation using the occlusion pressure (Pocc), Bertoni et al. [[3]] showed that the coefficient was fairly stable between patients and over time. Driving pressure: pitfalls of methods that do not use esophageal pressure measurement. Indeed, the use of P and Pocc-based measurements could be used as a screening method to identify those patients who might benefit the most from esophageal pressure monitoring for transpulmonary pressure measurement and inspiratory effort assessment.
