- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the use of piriform aperture as secondary target for the surgical management of nasal obstruction. The study performs a curvilinear access incision, uses ultrasonic bone aspirator (UBA) to remove the desired amount of bone in the piriform aperture widening the bony nasal valve, and closes the incision. Results show that the technique has significantly improve the nasal obstruction.
