- Abstract
The article discusses a study for the identification of physiological responses induced by acetic acid with fluorescent dye loaded in mammalian cultured cells. It mentions that cell responses are induced by acetic acid with acidification of the intracellular environment along with other major responsible feature is hydrophobicity. It mentions that undissociated acetic acid components are the functional unit that penetrates the lipid bilayer of cell membrane for specific responses.
