- Title
THE INVASION OF THE CHICK EMBRYO BY ECTROMELIA VIRUS AFTER INOCULATION ON THE CHORIOALLANTOIC MEMBRANE.
- Authors
Lawrence, J. J.
- Abstract
Infectivity titrations on various tissues and organs of the developing chick embryo at intervals after inoculation on the chorioallantoic membrane have shown that the virus appears to pass directly via the blood stream to the embryo and to multiply in those organs and extra-embryonic membranes examined, namely: liver, brain, chorioallantois, amniotic sac and yolk sac.
