- Abstract
Lightweight thermal insulation wall materials were prepared by adding polystyrene particles, cellulose ether,latex powder, polyvinyl alcohol solution and other materials into the cementitions materials prepared with 20% of cement,40% of desulfurization gypsum,24% of fly ash,6% of slag and 10% of iron tailings were used as raw materials to replace cement. The effects of admixtures on compressive strength, bulk density, water absorption, softening coefficient and thermal cenductivity were discussed, and the process parameters were determined. The test determined that the volume content of polystyrene particles was 94%,cellulose ether 0.4%,latex powder 0.4%,polyvinyl alcohol solution 1%,and solid waste content was 80%. The lightweight thermal insulation wall made of polystyrene particles according to the best proportion of the test has a compressive strength of 1.46 MPa, a dry density of 560 kg/m~3,a thermal conductivity of 0.132 W/(m·K) and a water absorption of 17%,which meets the requirements of A06grade specified in JG/T 266—2011“Foam concrete”.
