The Ideal Vaccine: Until Death Do Us Part.
- Authors
Ertl, Hildegund CJ
- Abstract
In this article, the author discusses the formulation of nanoparticle-based vaccine by S.P. Katsuri and colleagues. He says that the vaccine was made up of a biodegradable synthetic polymer that induces high and sustained antibody titers. He states that the vaccine combines the advantages of a protein vaccine and viral vector vaccine that contributes to improve immunogenicity. He adds that further studies are still needed to attain a better perspective on the relative potency of the vaccine.
