- Abstract
Chemistry is a central subject, which is of great significance to the construction of innovative countries. Colleges and universities shoulder the important task of cultivating high-quality chemical professionals with both socialist core values and scientific and creative ability, but to a certain extent, there are the problems of "emphasizing intellectual education over moral education", "emphasizing scientific research over teaching" and "emphasizing knowledge over ability". Professor Yu-Zhong Wang, the author of this paper, has long advocated innovative education and deep cultivation teaching reform for undergraduate students. Under his guidance, a new model called "chemistry + " multi-dimensional collaborative education has been built. Simultaneously, a newly complete teaching system has also been constructed, in which socialist core values and scientific and creative abilities run through the whole process of talent training. Through academicians leading the construction, practice and promotion of the "chemistry +" education model, a new way to cultivate high-level chemical talents has been explored.
