- Abstract
The article discusses a study which described the prevalence of obesity in French adults from 1997 to 2006. Obesity increased from 8.6% in 1997 to 13.1% in 2006. The rate of increase was lower in men between 2003 and 2006, although the prevalence increased in parallel in men and women.
