- Abstract
This article presents a medial case related to eccrine hidradenitis. A 47-year-old white males 4 years status-post heart transplant, on cyclosporine, had a 9-month history of recurrent crops of 3- to 4-mm; edematous, erythematouspapules on the lateral left wrist. A variety of terms have been proposed to describe inflammatory reaction patterns involving the eccrine sweat glands. Cases designated as neutrophilic EH 1 were summarized in 1989. The microscopic features can be equally diverse probably reflecting a spectrum of changes in the course of disease.
