- Abstract
The article reports that philosopher Kurt Gödel found a logical contradiction in the U.S. Constitution. Topics include amending power in Article V and logical possibility of self-amendment as the problems with the constitution, according to Gödel, Constitution containing a finite number of legal provisions or constitutional statements, and constitutional protection against the possibility of a legalistic dictatorship. It mentions Congress can propose amendments to the Constitution.
