- Abstract
The article analyzes the role of myeloid leukemia cell differentiation protein (MCL1) down-regulation in the different anti-leukaemic activity of the multi-kinase inhibitor Sorafenib with respect to Dasatinib in Acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) cell lines. Sorafenib plays higher cytotoxicity with respect to Dasatinib in all cell lines. It is also mentioned that Sorafenib potently down-regulates MCL1 in all leukaemic cell lines, while Dasatinib increases MCL1 expression in OCI and HL60 cells.
