- Abstract
There is no overview of how anthropometric data from the Food and Nutrition Surveillance System (Sisvan Web) have been used, which can support decision-making in public health. We sought to identify how Sisvan Web data have been used and the type of analyzes that have been conducted in Brazil. This is a systematic review that followed PRISMA and was registered in PROSPERO (CRD42021278357). Studies developed between 2008 and 2022, in any language, that used Sisvan-Web data at any stage of life were included. Observational designs published in Pubmed, Lilacs, Embase, Adolec, SciELO, Google Scholar and the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations (CAPES) were included. The search was performed on 08/17/2021 and updated on 07/18/2022. Nine studies used general data and the others evaluated populations by state, totaling 138.785.705 individuals. One study evaluated all life cycles, the majority evaluated children and only 3 studies evaluated the elderly, with 44.4% of the studies having a low risk of bias. The body mass index was the most used parameter and most of the studies were of the ecological type (descriptive).
