- Abstract
The article analyzes the volatiles of the female coffee leafminer moth known as Leucoptera coffeella which are collected in coffee plantations in Chiapas, Mexico. According to the study, the field response of the coffee leafminer moth to stereoisomers of the major component indicated that delta traps baited with dimethylpentadecane caught a greater number of coffee leafminer males. The study is made to emphasize the possibility of using sterroisomers as bait to monitor the leafminer moth.
