The article focuses on a study conducted by the authors on molecular modelling of licochalcone E as protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B) Inhibitor. Topics discussed include modelling of PTP1B because of its function in signalling pathways for obesity and type 2 diabetes, molecular docking simulation of PTP1B inhibition and binding stability provided through adjacent hydrophobic pockets.
