- Abstract
This paper introduces the denitrification principle of the constructed wetland-microbial fuel cell system, the efficiency of purifying various types of wastewater(chromium containing wastewater, phenol containing wastewater, high-salinity wastewater, antibiotic wastewater and nitrogen containing wastewater, etc.), and summarizes the research status of these kinds of wastewater treatment by the method of constructed wetland-microbial fuel cell, the factors affecting the treatment efficiency of constructed wetland-microbial fuel cells(hydraulic retention time, wetland plants and microorganisms, electrodes and temperature, etc.) are analyzed, and finally the characteristics of electricity production are analyzed in order to provide a reference for the application of constructed wetland-microbial fuel cell system in wastewater treatment.
