- Abstract
The article offers information on the study of the Neyman-Scott clustered rainfall model through its performance concerning the generation of consistent synthetic extreme values relative to historical counterparts. It states that the rainfall data were received from the Japan Meteorological Agency Automated Meteorological Data Acquisition System (AMeDAS) in Kyushu, Japan and the maritime area of Naha in Okinawa. The results show a significant improvement in the consistency of rainfall values.
