- Abstract
This article presents the script of a case study on Health Promotion in Nursing curricula , in order to build an explanatory theory , answering the questions : What is the mobilization of knowledge by teachers in the design , development and evaluation of curriculum Promotion health ? What are the meanings attributed to learning by students of Health Promotion ? Health Promotion developed in different environments , where health is experienced and constructed by people. The HEI Health Promoting assume responsibility for Health Promotion , a dynamic middle - school , contributing to the construction of knowledge in a globalized world , preparing students as citizens in their organizations and communities ( Charter of Edmonton , 2005) . We developed a multi-case study (Yin , 2003 ) and ethnographic ( Streubert , Carpenter , 2011) using techniques such as data collection: document review of nursing curricula and work by students , participant observation of students in the context of clinical teaching and ethnographic teachers with four or more years of service and students of the 1st and 2nd cycles interviews . Analysis of the data revealed three themes : learning from health promotion studentcentered , contextualized intervention in the field of health promotion and teaching Professionalism .
