- Abstract
The article cites a study on migrainous cerebral infarction. Migraine attacks tend to decrease in frequency with increasing age, and ischemic stroke is a rare but serious complication of migraine. Although studies conducted to determine an association between migraine and cerebral infarction, it remains uncertain. However, most clinical studies agree that migrainous stroke is common in women under the age 45 suffering from migraine with aura and with the presence of risk factors.
