- Abstract
The article provides information on the therapy called the plombage therapy which is used in patients diagnosed with cavitary pulmonary tuberculosis. The therapy was used to collapse tuberculous cavities incavitary apical disease. It was also considered to be a safer method of collapse therapy than thoracoplasty, which was fraught with complications.
