- Abstract
The article investigates the impact of active learning approach in science teaching on the cognitive learning of students in Turkey. Active learning approach uses classroom activities that will motivate students to participate actively. However, the success of active learning approach depends on the reliability of the teacher in choosing appropriate activities that will engage the students in their cognitive thinking.
