- Title
Will rising CO2 affect Zn and Fe bioavailability in food grains?
- Authors
Kumar, Manoj
- Abstract
The article presents the author's view on carbon dioxide (CO2) induced changes in micronutrients bioavailability in food grains. He discusses the experiment related to potassium (P) concentration in rice grown under elevated CO2. He further states that high doses of P negatively correlates with zinc and iron concentration and urges the need of systematic study on the impact of rising atmospheric CO2 on bioavailability of micronutrients in major food grains.
