- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the isolation of secondary metabolites from the Fungus Aspergillus species (sp.) (TA01-14) derived from Gorgonian Carijoa sp. (GX-WZ-2010001) to examine the EtOAc extract's antibacterial activity against pathogenic bacterias. The study uses semipreparative HPLC in isolating 1-6 compounds through separation and purification, where diorcinol compound showed wide antibacterial activity against bacterias including Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus cereus.
