- Abstract
In the article, the authors present their study which examined the immune responses of wild and domestic caprid species that are essential in addressing certain zoonotic diseases. In the research, allele-specific expression and splicing analyses were used to study the blood trascriptomes of 13 Siberian ibex and domestic goat hybrids. Also mentioned are the genes showing imbalance between the ibex and goat and their relations to Toll-like receptor (TLR) and immune activation pathways.
