- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a parvovirus infection in pregnancy in 35-year-old woman, gravida 3 para 2. She who underwent routine ultrasound examination at 13 weeks' pregnancy, revealing a nuchal translucency measurement of 3.6 millimeter. The fetus was hydropic with generalized subcutaneous edema, pleural and pericardial effusion and ascites. The doppler examination showed tricuspid regurgitation and reversed flow in the umbilical artery.
