- Abstract
The article offers a perspective on the relevance of international refugee law in 2033. It points out the adaptability of the 1951 Refugee Convention to changing contexts and interpretation and considers the principle of non-refoulement in human rights law as an extension of protection to people facing risk to their life. It discusses the relevance of international refugee law in climate change and disasters and the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in humanitarian assistance.
