- Authors

- Abstract
The article looks at a study of the approvals of two drugs that block the function of the immune checkpoint programmed cell death and planted tumor immunotherapy in the mainstream of clinical oncology. It mentions efficacy of cancer immunotherapy and genetic models of immunodeficiency and carcinogen-induced tumors. It also mentions Darwinian selection facilitated by oncogenic mutations, genomic instability, and evasion of immune detection as hallmarks of cancer.
