- Authors

- Abstract
A letter expressing opinion on whether there is a need to mandate the use of ski helmet in children is presented. The authors cite some studies showing how wearing ski helmets reduced the risk of head injuries and lowered the rates of skull fractures. Based on a study that examined attitudes of individuals toward the use of ski helmets, the authors concluded that preventive helmet campaigns attain higher acceptance compared with a helmet mandatory.
