- Abstract
A series of Fe1-xCrxSeyTe1-y polycrystalline bulks were prepared using solid-state reaction method, and the effects of Cr content and the ratio of Se to Te on the structure and superconducting properties of these bulks were studied. The surface morphology, structure, and superconducting properties of the samples were measured. The results indicated that the as-grown Fe0.9Cr0.1Se0.7Te0.3 bulk had the maximum superconducting transition temperature Tc of 16.03 K, and the upper critical field of Fe0.9Cr0.1Se0.6Te0.4 bulk was about 123 T. In addition, we explored the influence of heat treatment on the superconducting properties of the samples. It was found that annealing improved the superconducting properties while re-sintering did not. Tc of Fe0.94Cr0.06Se0.5Te0.5 was improved from 15.54 to 16.23 K after annealing.
