- Abstract
Based on the comparative analysis of the surface structure and properties of the printed and non-printed surfaces of tipping paper, the surface wettability and permeation properties of the printed and non-printed of the tipping paper were analyzed via dynamic contact angle method and dynamic permeability method. The dynamic permeation process of the liquid on both sides of tipping paper was systematically studied. The results showed that the difference between the two sides of the tipping paper led to the difference of liquid wetting and penetration between the printing and non-printing surfaces. The three characteristic parameters(tmax,t95 and Ab )of dynamic penetration curve could be used to characterize the wetting and penetration performance of the tipping paper from different sources. At 0. 5s,the difference between the decrease of contact angle between the non-printed side and the printed side of tipping paper was less than 8°, of which the better machine applicability could be obtained.
