- Abstract
The article presents a case study of 72-year-old woman with a 7-year history of a rheumatic inflammatory disorder. It mentions because of the association of polyarthritis and diarrhoea, with marked improvement on ceftriaxone, Whipple disease was suspected; and also mentions inflammatory pain in the hips and shoulders associated with an elevated C-reactive protein (CRP) level.
