- Title
Virtual contingency management, what is it worth and who will pay for it?
- Authors
McKetin, Rebecca; Clay, Simon
- Abstract
The article shares insight on whether virtual contingency management (CM) is as effective as CM delivered in person and what is should cost. Emphasis is given on the need to consider the preferences of people who use stimulants when making modifications to CM to improve its implementation. Factors that may undermine the effectiveness of virtual CM include veracity of remote testing, the need for pharmacological management of stimulant withdrawal symptoms and the need for more holistic care.
