- Abstract
The main objective of the study was to evaluate winter wheat genotypes behavior under drought conditions. By using one of the most simple, efficient and economical method was possible to test a number of 142 genotypes of winter wheat. This method created drought stress conditions at post-anthesis stage by chemical desiccant application, with NaClO3 (2%). The results indicated that some of the 13 genotypes presented in this paper (Litera, Arieşan) were more drought resistant than the other ones (e.g. Bezostaia).
