- Abstract
The article focuses on the realization of the ABC children's channel of the Australian Children's Television Foundation (ACTF). The ACTF championed the children's drama (C Drama quota) for more than 20 years. It points out that there are regulations which require commercial broadcasters to screen an average of 32 hours annually of first-release Australian C Drama quota. ACTF contends that the networks will achieve success locally if they will schedule and promote the programs properly.
