- Abstract
The article presents the case of a 30-year-old gay men with acquired immune deficiency syndrome and a one-week history of bilateral neck swelling. The patient had a sore throat, as well as fever, malaise and lethargy. A physical examination was made, wherein he was diagnosed with lymphoma, mycobacterial or pyogenic infection. A diagnosis of primary cytomegalovirus sialadenitis was made, which made the patient recover to his normal condition.
