- Authors
Strauss, Roland M.; Marzo-Ortega, Helena; Bruckner, Andreas A.
- Abstract
The article features a painting titled Agosta the pigeon-chested man and Rasha the black dove by Bavarian artist Christian Schad. It depicts a representation of a human body with exact reflections of malformations or disease. It presents the deep pectus excavatum with outward deformities of the lower halves of the anterior rib cage with kyphoscoliosis affecting extraordinarily its shoulder girdle which suggests the diagnosis of Marfan's syndrome.
