- Abstract
Wstęp. Aktywność fizyczna Nordic Walking (NW) z każdym rokiem cieszy się coraz większą popularnością. Oparta jest ona na technice fizjologicznego marszu oraz na technice odpychania od podłoża za pomocą specjalnie zaprojektowanych kijków. Celem pracy była analiza wpływu tej aktywności na wybrane parametry oddechowe osób po 55 roku życia oraz ocena tej formy ruchowej przez osoby ćwiczące. Materiał i metody. Badaniami objęto 33 osoby (29 kobiet i 4 mężczyzn), będące słuchaczami Uniwersytetu Trzeciego Wieku. Losowo utworzono dwie grupy. Grupa I uprawiała aktywność fizyczną typu fitness (Ft), gdzie zajęcia miały charakter wysiłku aerobowego. Grupa II aktywność fizyczną Nordic Walking. Dodatkowo Grupa II oceniła NW na podstawie autorskiej ankiety. Wyniki. W Grupie II stwierdzono znamiennie statystycznie lepszą poprawę parametrów VC, FVC, w porównaniu z poprawą parametrów VC, FVC Grupy I. Parametr FEV1 poprawił się znamiennie jedynie w Grupie II. Wniowiłsięznaski. 1. Ćwimienczeniejenia NordyniewGrudic Walking wpłypieII.nęły w badanej grupie na znamiennie lepszą poprawę parametrów oddechowych niż w grupie poddanej standardowym ćwiczeniom fitness. W grupie badanej obserwowano widoczną tendencję do większych różnic między pomiarem początkowym a końcowym. 2. Forma aktywności Nordic Walkig została bardzo wysoko oceniona przez osoby ćwiczące. Marsz z kijkami ma szansę stać się w Polsce popularną i powszechnie uprawianą formą aktywności wśród osób starszych, ze względu na prostą i nieobciążającą organizmu technikę.
