- Abstract
The article presents the study which examined how bullying behavior in children of incarcerated mothers was predicted by both the positive and negative side of teasing, peer interaction and emotion regulation. It cites the three elements of teasing , namely, aggression, humor and ambiguity. It claims that a child's emotion regulation could serve as a protective factor against engaging in bullying behavior.
