- Abstract
The article offers information on the transgenic technique pronuclear injection-based targeted transgenesis (PITT). It discusses PITT techniques are useful for transgenic expression by integration of a single-copy transgene into a specified locus by Cre-loxP. It mentions the requirement of Cre expression plasmid and donor vector containing loxP sequences for PITT technique. It informs Cre protein is available in high amount when iCre mRNA injected in zygote. It focuses on the Cre-expression plasmid with iCre mRNA which is used for increasing the efficiency of PITT technique. It also presents a table for increasing PITT efficiency by iCre mRNA injection into cytoplasm and nucleus of the zygotes.
