- Abstract
Within the framework of the modified potential cluster model with forbidden states, radiative n12С capture at energies from 10–5 keV to 5 MeV has been considered with allowance for the wide resonance at Ex = 8.2 MeV. It has been shown that it is possible, with the help of potentials that have been matched with bound state energies, to accurately reproduce the available experimental data. Reaction rates of n12C capture have been calculated on the basis of the obtained total cross sections. Results for the reaction rates are approximated by simple expressions, which simplifies their use in applied studies.
