- Abstract
In recent years, the logistics sector's workload has also increased due to reasons such as e-commerce and the increased interest in new products in Türkiye. Main activities of storage, transportation, and stock management are carried out in the production process from production to the end of consumption. It is seen that transportation is an important activity for continuing production and meeting the needs both before the pandemic and during the pandemic period we are living in. In this study, the problem of scheduling drivers, which has an important role in ensuring continuity in transportation, has been addressed. In this problem, a driver scheduling was made for a logistics company that operates from Istanbul-main departure to 31 different destinations six days a week. A mathematical programming model was established considering the drivers' permission rights, legal limits, and balanced working principles, and a monthly-work schedule was created for 150 drivers.
