Solid-Phase Combinatorial Synthesis of Carbohydrate-Containing Ureas with Four-point Diversity.

- Abstract
A method has been developed for the preparation of combinatorial library of glycopeptoids and sugar-based ureas with four-point diversity. Combinatorial library of 93 compounds was prepared starting from glycosylated β-amino acid combinatorial scaffold. The library consists of two related class of compounds namely glycopeptoids [L-(101-164), 64 compounds] and the carbohydrate-containing ureas [L-(171-199), 29 compounds] and were synthesized using an automated robotic synthesizer. The reaction on solid support was monitored by single bead FTIR spectroscopy technique and all the compounds of the library were characterized by their MS spectra while a few were also characterized by 1H-NMR spectroscopy.
