- Abstract
The article discusses the importance of rehabilitation therapy in treating somatosensory disorders (SD) that can arise from conditions such as strokes, spinal cord injuries, and diabetic neuropathy. It highlights various research studies exploring rehabilitative interventions, prognostic forecasting, and innovative methodologies for assessing and treating SD. The findings emphasize the need for interdisciplinary collaboration and the development of precise, objective assessments and treatments. Another article explores the relationship between somatosensory impairment and motor recovery in stroke patients, suggesting that while somatosensory impairment may impact motor recovery, it is not a strict requirement for improvement. This research provides valuable insights into the rehabilitation process for stroke patients.
