- Abstract
The article presents a case study a 3-year-old male child with history of high grade and intermittent fever. An eschar behind the patient's left pinna was noted following head to foot examination. The lesion was noted to have a dark brown to black scab. A diagnosis of scrub typhus, a rickettsial infection, was made.
