- Abstract
The article offers information on planet Uranus, which is discovered by William Herschel in 1781. It states that Herschel used to invent telescopes to search for comets and observe known planets, nebula, galaxies and stars. He plotted the orbit of the comet-like object, and identified it as a planet which turns out to be Uranus. Furthermore, Uranus can be located using the stars marking the right side of the square of Pegasus in October. Observing the planet requires binoculars or a telescope since it is right at the limit of naked-eye visibility. The motion of the planet is relative to the dim stars of Aquarius.
