- Abstract
The article reports on the development of novel methods of cooperation between industry and education in science teaching in the U.S. With the growing concern on both the part of industry and of science education people for the improvement and strengthening of science education, efforts have been made to discover new and useful techniques and to integrate these techniques into a consistent program of industry education cooperation. In recent years, the concept of community-centered education has gained considerable support in educational fields.
